PRODUCTION RAMP UP
The introduction of a second excavator to the mining operation and a third gold barrel to the ore processing operation in early August has resulted in the foreshadowed increase in both the quantity of ore processed and gold/silver produced.
A total of 57.5 tonnes of wet ore has been processed in the month of August to date, compared to 53.94 tonnes for the whole of the June 2014 Quarter.
Gold production has increased in August to 79.3 grams or 2.55 ounces per day (2,221 g or 71.4 ounces month to date) equating to a rate of approximately 2,458 grams or 79 ounces per month. The average rate of production for the June Quarter was 31.3 grams or 1 ounce per day for a monthly average of 939 grams or 30.2 ounces per month.
